Thanks for your interest in the Friends of Portobello campaign. We welcome anyone, regradless of background, who wishes to act as a friend to the much loved Portobello Road Market. As Friends we simply wish to better proterct and secure for future generations this most unique and diverse of London street.

Whilst seeking to strongly advocate and campaign for Portobello Road Market - its antiques, the Fruit and Vegetables, the vintage, and the flea  markets - we also wish to better support the small local shop keepers, the local civic amenities such as the public toilets, the Tabernalce arts centre, and more broadly develop new ideas and polticts to insure that localism is not just a reaction but a beneficial solution to the many unwarranted changes being forced on many urban areas, market towns, seaside resorts and rural villages.
